 You wake up feeling well rested and ready to tackle the day. You have a morning routine that works like clockwork: arise, undress, weigh, put on workout clothes and shoes, drink water and possibly some caffeine and maybe even eat a bit, then head to the gym or out for a walk or to your home workout area for some daily movement. 

You shower, get ready for the day, get dressed, happy with the way the first outfit you put on looks and feels. You eat the meals that you have previously planned out and maybe even partially prepped, prioritizing protein and produce. You have tons of energy throughout your day. You feel comfortable and confident in whatever situation you find yourself. 

There are times throughout the day that really delicious, highly tasty and caloric foods cross your path. Sometimes you eat them. Sometimes you don’t but you always make that decision with mindfulness and intention, knowing that food does not have moral value only nutritional value and that sometimes trade offs are well worth it. 

At the end of the day, you are proud of yourself. You know you lived with intent and based your decisions on your current goals and what living your best life looks like. You quickly plan the next day and jump into bed looking forward to hours of restful sleep, excited to do it all again tomorrow!

The first thing we will do together is create a plan. We will do this by taking an in depth look at your what outcomes you wish to achieve. Whether it’s to lose fat, build muscle, increase strength, improve performance, or a combination of any of the above, we will create a personalized strategy for YOU!

Hi! I’m Heather. I love this picture. It’s just ME! Cookbooks, running shoes,  dumbbells, and food—some of my most favorite things. What you can’t see, off to the left, is the mixing bowl full of chocolate chip cookie dough!! It took some time but I finally found a way to have it all and you can too! The Happy Middle.

 

If you know me, you know I love all things food! I grew up learning to cook and bake at an early age. I have always felt right at home in the kitchen. However, my love of food and baking has always seemed to conflict with my desire to be healthy and fit. This led me to a passionate search for a way to still cook and bake and enjoy all the delicious things while at the same time learning how to eat and move in a way that aligns with my goals to be strong and fit. I finally found a happy middle!  

If you have ever struggled to find that happy middle in your journey, I can help you. As a Precision Nutrition Nutrition Coach and a NASM certified Personal Trainer, I have worked and spent many hours learning to tools to help women find that sweet spot where they are working towards the body they want using the habits they need and enjoying a life they love.
